Optimized Process for Precision and Speed
The assembly process begins with the precise positioning of the metallic shoe and lining on a fixture, followed by the application of 10 kN of pressure to ensure secure bonding. An automated Pick and Place (P&P) system then transfers the components to a conveyor, which moves them into an oven for curing at 180°C. Once curing is complete, the parts return to the initial loading and unloading station, ready for the next stage of production.
Advanced Technologies Powering the Line
To achieve high precision and efficiency, the assembly line integrates state-of-the-art technology, including a Siemens 1500 PLC for control, a Kistler servo press for precise force application, and Weiss indexing tables for smooth part transitions. Motion control is handled by Festo linear servomotors, while Schunk pneumatic tweezers ensure accurate part handling. Additionally, Keyence vision technology provides real-time inspection, and MES integration enables full traceability and production monitoring.
